The Spell Keeper Book Release Party

These pictures are from the official release party for The Spell Keeper. It was held at Tillie's Bean Coffee Shop in Minneapolis on a beautiful Saturday in April.
Many of our friends and family showed up and got copies of The Spell Keeper. Dana gratefully signed every one of them. Tyree Campbell of Sam's Dot Publishing was kind enough to come all the way up from Ceder Rapids to help us out.
Dana gave two entertaining readings that day. The next few pictures are from the first reading.


After the first reading we sat down for some cake. We absolutely adored the cake. It was four levels high, with each layer being a different flavor. The yellow book is Fun with Dick and Jane.

After a while the first group mostly wandered out. It was a little quiet for a while, then a second wave came in. It was like two entirely different parties. We ended up with members of both our families, Dana's present and past co-workers, Court Revelers, life-long friends of Dana's, and other various friends.
Dana enthusiastically read to all of them.
It was a really fun time, we sold quite a few copies, and saw lots of old friends. Thanks go out to Maggie Turner and Tillie's Bean (buy their coffee!) for hosting our little party, and to all who worked on the cake. Thanks to everyone who showed up. We hope you enjoy the book.
